Outreach and Education

Robin has delivered educational programming in both university and outreach settings. She has worked most frequently with young adults aged 15 to 19 years old.

Let's Talk Science: Outreach Volunteer (2013 - 2014)
Supervised young students (ages 6-11) in hands-on activities to demonstrate science concepts.
Special events: Science Rendezvous and McMaster Child & Youth University

ENG 1P03 (Engineering Profession & Practice): Teaching Assistant (2011-2013) and Summer Instructor (2013)
Guided first-year engineering students through a design project developing solutions and prototypes for healthcare problems.

McMaster University L.E.A.P.: Undergraduate Counsellor, Materials Science (Summer 2007)
Developed and delivered curriculum for a secondary school summer enrichment program (lectures, hands-on labs, guest speakers, tours).
